Secret Lake
It's not a secret anymore.
A large lake, way outside of town, mostly unpopulated, with a dirt road around the lake.
There's 2 roads to get here, on the left side, coming out of Kampot towards Kep about 5km from town. Both are dirt roads. You're in the countryside now! About 7km to the lake.
Most people get here either on a rented motorcycle (the funnest way) or in a Tuk Tuk (also fun) or car (not as fun).
It's about 30 - 40 minutes from town.
You'll drive through small villages on the side of the road and rice fields, sugar cane fields and unknown fruit and vegetable fields to get here.
Around the lake are a couple restaurants, a couple guesthouses (one really nice resort), fruit trees and farms and small mountains, and three of Cambodia's premier Kampot Pepper plantations. Most of the lake is unpopulated.
